Hazrat Data Ali Hajveri

Hazrat Ali Hajveri

"Ganj Baksh (bestower of spiritual treasures)
is a grace to the world; a manifester of God's light.
A perfect spiritual teacher for the
beginners; a guide for the perfected."

Hazrat Moinuddin Chishti (RA)
BRIEF BIOGRAPHY:
Birth Name: Abul Hassan Ali Ibn Usman al-Jullabi al-Hajvery al-Ghaznawi
Born in: Ghazna (present day Afghanistan)
Passed away in: Lahore, Pakistan

In depth:

He was born in 400 A.H. in Ghazni, Afghanistan to a Syed family (descendants of the Holy Prophet). He completed his earlier education in Ghazni by memorizing the Holy Quran, and then studied Arabic, Farsi, Hadith, Fiqh and Philosophy. At that time, Ghazni was the center of education in Central Asia, and it was the realm of the famous Afghan ruler, Sultan Mahmood Ghaznavi.

After completing worldly education, Hazrat Ali Hajveri began to seek spiritual enlightenment . He travelled to many places for this purpose, and finally became a disciple (mureed) of Hazrat Abul Fazal Mohammad bin Khatli from the Junaidiya Sufi Order, who lived in Syria.

In Syria, Hazrat Ali Hajveri started his spiritual education under the guidance of Hazrat Abul Fazal. He slept less, ate less, performed tough contemplations & meditation. Then he travelled to many countries & places like Iran, Iraq, Syria, Turkey, Arabia, Azerbaijan etc. where he met many Sufi saints & dervishes.

Once he entangled in a spiritual mystery and wasn't able to solve it, so he went to the tomb of Hazrat Bayazid Bustami, where he meditated for many days. Due to the grace of Hazrat Bayazid Bustami, he eventually solved the mystery.

During his visit to Syria, he visited the tomb of the great Companion of the Rasulallah (s.a.w), Hazrat Bilal. There he slept for a while, and in his dream he found himself in Makkah, where he saw the Holy Prophet (s.a.w) with an old man who he didn't recognize. Then Hazrat Ali Hajveri fell at the feet of the Holy Prophet (s.a.w) & kissed them. The Holy Prophet knew what Hazrat Ali Hajveri had in his mind, so he told him: "This man is Abu Hanifa, your Imam."
Later his spiritual teacher (murshid), Hazrat Abul Fazal ordered him to go to Lahore to preach the spiritual teachings of Islam. He said: "Hazrat Shah Hussain Zanjani is already there for this purpose. Why is it that I should also be sent there?" Hazrat Abul Fazal said: "It's none of your business, just go to Lahore." So he left Syria & went to Ghazni. From Ghazni, he went to Peshawar & then to Lahore, in 1041 A.D (431 A.H).
When he reached to Lahore, he saw that people are taking a coffin towards the graveyard for burial. He asked the people whose coffin that was, and they replied that it is the body of Hazrat Shah Hussain Zanjani. After hearing that, he understood why his teacher Hazrat Abul Fazal sent him to Lahore and so he started to preach Islam & build a mosque there.

At that time, Lahore was included in the Ghazni Kingdom, whose ruler was Sultan Mahmood Ghaznavi. And the governer of Lahore was Ra'e Raju, who was a Hindu and it was believed that he had many great mystical abilities. The people of Lahore used to supply milk to Ra'e Raju in big quantities, as a payment for these "abilities". Once an old woman was on her way to him and she passed by Hazrat Ali Hajveri, holding a water-pot filled with milk. Hazrat Ali Hajveri asked her to give him some milk from that. The woman refused & said that she has to give it to Ra'e Raju. Hazrat Ali Hajveri said: "Give some milk to me and by the grace of God, your cow will produce much more milk than usual".
The woman gave him the pot and Hazrat Ali Hajveri drank some of the milk, and then threw the remaining into the river. The old woman went to her home and was extremely surprised to see that the udders of her cow was full of milk. She filled all her pots with the milk, but still the cow kept producing more milk. Soon this news spread all around Lahore and people started to visit Hazrat Ali Hajveri. They brought pots of milk so that he would drink from it and bless it, and all of their cows started to produce more milk than ever before. Thus, the people of Lahore stopped supplying milk to Ra'e Raju.

Later Ra'e Raju sent one of his disciples to Hazrat Ali Hajveri, as his disciples also had so-called mystical abilities. That disciple didn't come back, so Ra'e Raju sent another disciple, who also didn't come back. In that way, he sent all of his disciples, but no one came back at all. Finally, he himself went to Hazrat Ali Hajveri, in anger and frustration.
Ra'e Raju challenged Hazrat Ali Hajveri to show him any miracle. Hazrat Ali Hajveri replied: "I'm not a juggler." Still, Ra'e Raju tried to impress him with his miracles, and started flying in the air. So then, Hazrat Ali Hajveri ordered his own shoes to bring him down. So the shoes of Hazrat Ali Hajveri went flying and hit Ra'e Raju on the head & brought him down.
Ra'e Raju was inspired & embraced Islam on his hands. After accepting Islam, he changed his name to Sheikh Ahmed Hindi.

When Hazrat Ali Hajveri built a mosque in Lahore, the front of the mosque was towards the south, and so it differed from all the other mosques of Lahore. So there became a doubt that the front of this mosque is not in the direction of the Ka'bah.
The Scholars of Lahore ruled out that mosque, but Hazrat Ali Hajveri did not respond to them. When the mosque was built completely, he invited all scholars of Lahore & said to them: "You doubted whether the front of this mosque was facing the Ka'bah or not. Now see for yourself which direction the Ka'bah actually is!"
When they looked to the front, they saw the Ka'bah before their eyes, as if they were sitting infront of it. All the scholars felt ashamed after watching that, and seeked forgiveness from Hazrat Ali Hajveri.

Hazrat Ali Hajveri also built a room adjacent to that mosque, and used that room as Khanqa (a spiritual school). Many unbelievers accepted Islam at his hands, and many people reached the higher stages of spirituality under his guidance.
He married twice, but both of his wives passed away soon after marriage. He had a son, named Hassan.

He lived in Lahore for 21 years, and then went to Syria to meet his spiritual teacher Hazrat Abul Fazal. After the death of Hazrat Abul Fazal in 453 A.H, he returned once again to Lahore.

Hazrat Ali Hajveri wrote many books, some of his books are: Diwan-e-She'r; Minhajuddin; Al-Bayan Lahal- Al-Ayan; Israrul Kharq Wal-Mauniyat; Behrul Quloob; Kitab Fana Wa Baqa; Birri'ayat Be-Huqooq-Ullah; Kashful Israr; Sharah-e-Kalam; and Kashful Mahjub.

Hazrat Data Ganj Baksh Ali Hajveri (also known as Data Sahib) passed away at the age of 65 in 465 A.H., in Lahore.

When Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti visited Lahore in 561 A.H (1165 AD), he stayed at the tomb of Hazrat Ali Hajveri for two weeks where he meditated. When he finished his meditation, he said a couplet in Farsi:

Ganj Bukhsh Faiz-e-Alam; Mazhar-e-Noor-e-Khuda
Naqisa-ra Pir-e-Kamil; Kamila-ra Rahnuma

BIOGRAPHY of Hazrat Sultan Bahu

BIOGRAPHY of Hazrat Sultan Bahu (Allah Bless His Soul)Sultan ul Arifeen (King of Arifeen - the Highest grade of Sufism) Hazrat Sakhi Sultan Bahu was born at Shorkot in 1039 A.H. Shorkot is the Tehsil headquarter of District Jhang of Punjab. His father Hazrat Muhammad Bazayd was a pious man, a jurist who learnt Quran by heart and he was the commandant of the Shor fort during the reign of Mughal emperor Shahjahan. His mother Hazrat Bibi Raasti was a saint of high caliber. He belonged to Awan caste and was the descendant of Hazrat Ali. His mother got the intuition that soon a saint par excellence would be born to her who would fill the face of the earth with his mental illumination and spirituality and she should name him “Bahu”. There Mai Sahiba gave him the name “Bahu”. He was a saint by birth and his spiritual guidance started from his early childhood. A Non-Muslim who happened to look at his illuminated face immediately converted to Islam by reciting the Shahada. Non-Muslims became so scared of this miracle of Hazrat Bahu that a delegation consisted of their leading men met his father and requested him to make an announcement whenever this child was about to leave the house, so that they should remain in their homes and could be saved from conversion.

Spiritually, he took an oath of allegiance at the sacred hands of the Holy Prophet (blessing and salutation be on Him). In his book, Ameer-ul-Qaunaian” he says that he wandered for about thirty years in search of spiritual guide but in vain. At last, Hazrat Ali (RA) took him spiritually to the sacred presence of Holy Prophet (blessing and salutation be on Him). The Holy Prophet (blessing and salutation be on Him) showed utter happiness on seeing him and asked him to hold his hand. Thats how he took an oath of allegiance and then the Holy Prophet (blessing and salutation be on Him) instructed him and ordered him to spiritually help the creatures of God. After this, the Holy Prophet (blessing and salutation be on Him) entrusted him to Hazrat Shaikh Abd ul Qadir Al Jilani (Allah be pleased with him) and said that Bahu was his spiritual son and he should also spiritually instruct and guide him. Therefore, Hazrat Pir Dastagir enriched him with his spiritual wealth. About that Haq Bahu says that “I have covered the entire distance from the beginning to extreme, when the King of “Faqr” cast on me the favorable glance”. After that on the order of Ghaus-e-Pak Hazrat Shaikh Abd ul Qadir Al Jilani(Allah be pleased with him) he overtly took an oath of allegiance at the hand of Sheikh Pir Abdur Rehman Qadri of Delhi. (he was the descendant of Ghaus-a-Pak). The shrine of Pir Abdur Rehman is in Delhi.

The Status and splendor of Sultan Bahu is beyond anybody’s speculation. He says in Risala ”Ruhi Sharif” that “I took an oath of allegiance at the sacred hand of the Holy Prophet (blessing and salutation be on Him) and he considered me his “son”. He allowed me to guide the creatures of God”. He says. “Hazrat Fatima (RA) has considered me her “son”, in this way I have been blessed with the extremities of Faqr”.

Hazrat Haq Bahu didn’t receive formal education as he was busy from the early life in gaining spiritual experiences and true achievements. He says, “though I haven’t received formal education but after receiving spiritual / divine knowledge, I have become pure, that’s why the entire knowledge has been accumulated in my heart through reflection / inversion.
He didn’t get the opportunity to receive worldly knowledge because of being busy in intuition and witnessing the divine glory and he also didn’t get time to do meditation because he from the beginning to the end every moment remained drowned in the deep river of divine unity. Despite being so indulgent he acted upon the traditions of the Shariah of the Holy Prophet (blessing and salutation be on Him) with such determination that throughout his life he never missed an act endear to the Holy Prophet (blessing and salutation be on Him). He says, “I have gained every status by acting upon Shariah and have made Shariah my guide.

[IMG][IMG]Shrine of Hazrat Sultan BahuSultan Bahu authored about one hundred and forty books and in all those books he repeatedly advised three things to the aspirant of truth:

i. Obscurity.
ii. Desisting.
iii. To act upon the Shariah (Religious Dogma) of the Prophet (blessing and salutation be on Him).

He emphasized upon the following activities to attain all the spiritual grades:

1. Meditation about the essence of God.
2. Meditation about Prophet (blessing and salutation be on Him).
3. Recitation of Kalima-e- Tayyiba.
4. Invitation of Spiritual contact with next world (or eternal world) through Quranic verses. He says that because of these acts two most lofty positions are opened for the aspirant of truth and is no highest position above these.

i. Witnessing the essence of God.
ii. Eternal attendance of the sacred gathering of the Holy Prophet (blessing and salutation be on Him).

In his famous book “Noor-ul-Huda” he says “I have been blessed with the highest grades of sainthood (Sufism) by Allah the Almighty and the most Compassionate and thus prepared me to guide the people. If an aspirant of God is true and keen to witness Devine light, then there is no difficulty for Faqir Bahu to enable him to meet Allah / witness divine glory. He says in “Risala Ruhi Sharif”, “Anybody who is aspiring for God Almighty, he should come to me, I will enable him to reach from the bottom to the top in a moment. Oh! Aspirant of the Truth come over so that I enable you to reach God”. He says in his book named “Ameer-ul-Qaunain” that, “Oh dear! Let it be clear that truth leads to redemption and lie leads to destruction, that’s why what ever Faqir Bahu says he says it on the commandment of God and the Holy Prophet (blessing and salutation be on Him). He doesn’t say anything out of his own caprice. The day when God Almighty created the spirits, he created me with His eternal power, the same day He blessed me with His Beatific vision, from that day till now every moment, every second, I am drowned in Devine vision. Although worldly I use to talk to the people but spiritually I use to be blessed with beatific vision, I will be blessed with this in the grave, on the day of resurrection and in heaven also”. The Holy Prophet (blessing and salutation be on Him) says that “Sadaats are from my generation, scholars are from my chest and faqirs (highest level of saints) are from the Devine Light”. “I am a scholar of Devine knowledge. I see only divine light. I know nothing but Devine knowledge. Neither I know anything about round of daily recital and meditation nor I use to do them or recite them because entire knowledge is for the Divine knowledge that I possess. Where there is Devine knowledge there is no morning, no evening, no destination and no station. Devine essence can be witnessed in the form of the glory of the name of Allah (His personal name) in the stage of annihilation unto God (final stage of Sufism). In that Devine light one can witness the Devine vision. These status belong to that faqir who is an example of _______.

I know the Devine knowledge and recite it. I have attained these status due to the Holy / blessed company of the Holy Prophet (blessing and salutation be on Him), his sahabas and punjatun pak (five pures).

Sultan Haq Bahu is Sarwari Qadri order of Sufism. The spirituality of this order is that the mentor – spiritual guide (murshad) makes sure the presence of an aspirant of truth in the Holy gathering of Holy Prophet (blessing and salutation be on Him) in just one glance and single attention and in the same way enables him to see beatific vision / divine light. In this Holy order there is no intricacies like mystic exercises, forty days seclusions for mystic communion, withholding of breath, mystic initiation, meditation and daily round of recital. This order is also free of obvious saintly dress and style and also weary of style of mashaikhs e.g. scepter, rosary and gown and turban etc.

[IMG]Shrine of Hazrat Sultan BahuHe dies at the age of 63 in 1102 A.H. His shrine is situated in a village on the western bank of river chinab near town of Garh Maharaja in Tehsil Shorkot. The Village is known on his name as “Mauza sultan Haq Bahu”. His death anniversary (URS) helds on the first Thursday of Jamadi-us-sani.

HAZRAT SULTAN BAHU (RA)

The blessed soul of Hazrat Sayyidi-Murshidi, Sheikhul-Masheikh, Maulana-Murshidina, Sultan-ul-Arifeen HAZRAT SULTAN BAHU (RA),departed in a blissful state to its Lord on a Thursday evening, on the 1st of Jamadu-Thani, in the year 1102 AD/1693 at the blessed age of 63.
HIS FIRST TOMB The Saints funeral took place in the vicinity of Shorkot, in a small village called Qahergan which lies in the principality of Multan. He was buried in a brick-built fort. This fort stood on the very land and estate that the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan had conferred on the Saints father in lieu of his services to the state. Hazrat Sultan Bahu (RA) blessed body rested in this shrine for over 70 years.Shrine1
Then in the year 1180AD/1771 the fort fell forcefully in the hands of Jandha Singh and Gundha Singh, both of whom were administrative managers of the locality. Under their occupancy and becoming aware of their evil designs, the pious spiritual successors to Sultan Bahu (RA), migrated to another place. Hazrat Sheikh Sultan Muhammed Hussein (RA), the paternal grandson of the Saint and son of Hazrat Sheikh Sultan Wali Muhammed (RA), together with the family members, left the fort and settled in another region.
HIS SECOND TOMB

After the emigration of the family, the shrine was left in the care of a few faqirs and dervishes. The waters of the river Chenab began to rise threatening the structure of the fort and the graves inside. The faqirs and dervishes of the shrine began to excavate the caskets containing the bodies of those buried in the fort. All were found except the casket containing the blessed body of Hazrat Sultan Bahu (RA).The dervishes became despondent and discouraged at not finding the body. Suprarationally they were informed by the Saint not to be perturbed, for the one who is worthy and capable to touch his body will approach the grave site at dawn and take the casket out of the grave. As promised, at the approach of dawn, a pious Sayyid arrived and excavated the casket containing the blessed body of the Saint. This spectacle was witnessed by hundreds of people who had gathered for the occassion. It is narrated that the masses made `ziaarat’-that is, had the privilege of seeing the blessed body of the Saint.
It is said that he was just as if his body had the ritual bath – the water still dropping off his henna coloured beard. Fragrance and scent began to perfume the environment and spread considerably to outlying neighbourhoods. Some of those present, on seeing the sacred body, passed into ecstatic rapture. Even today, after almost 400 years, the same effects and vibrations are still felt and experienced when visiting the Saints tomb.
The pious Sayyid, together with the faqirs and dervishes, loaded the casket onto a camel and proceeded towards a graveyard (known as Peer Abdur Rehan quraishi’s graveyard), when on the way they came across an enclosure which was famous for its macabre and uncanny atmosphere. This surrounding was screened and preserved with a fencelike structure so that no man or animal could venture therein. On reaching the place the she camel sat down, despite being goaded to move on.Mizar Mubarik1
Witnessing the camel’s strange behaviour, they deduced that Allah must have reserved this sanctuary as the resting place for Hazrat Sultan Bahu (RA). Spontaneously the camel rose and entered the enclosure and sat on a neat clean clearing. Taking this as divine approval, they buried the casket. From this chosen place started a spring of blessings which turned into an ocean of benefit and guidance for humanity at large. This tomb was built in 1180/1771.Those who had emigrated began to return and began to built their homes around the compound.
HIS THIRD TOMB

For approximately 150 years, the tomb of the great Saint illuminated the hearts and minds of the people. The river Chenab once again raised its waters, coming dangerously close to the existing shrine. This incident and happening relates to the year 1336 AD/1927,during the spiritual reign of Hazrat Sultan Noor Ahmed (RA), who was instructed ecclesiastically by the Saint to once againshift the tomb to where it stands today. Once again his body could not be found. During his lifetime the saint had predicted that his grave would remain unknown. But Allah willed otherwise. After being informed by the saint whereto dig, the casket was removed. Due to the intense fragrance nobody could stay for long in the grave. The casket was finally removed with much difficulty and reburied before the 10th of Muharram in the year 1336 AD/1927 at a site one mile away to where it stands today in all its splendor.
Three centuries later, the tomb of Sultan Bahu (RA) is like a beacon of light, attracting thousands of true seekers, radiating their inward with his spiritual attraction. Many a dead hearted persons first sight of the Saints tomb produces in him an involuntary and spontaneous outburst of zikr (remembrance) of Allah.
The tomb of Sultan Bahu (RA) is unique in this case. He gives attention to true seekers in such a fashion that the entire personality of the seeker is spiritualized …… dancing in ecstasy they reach their hearts desire. This holy personality’s generosity and blessings is immeasurable because for a true Faqir (Spiritual Master), life and death, inward and outward is the same. It has been experienced many a time that a thought would pass in one’s mind and `supra-rationally it would be answered and made clear.
His grave is not a tomb but a furnace from where one’s soul is purified. In his lifetime the Sheikh use to bless people without revealing himself. His love for anonymity was such that before his death, he predicted that his resting place would be unknown. But Allah Willed otherwise. The resting place of this great Saint was made famous for the benefit of mankind. The discovery of his resting place itself is a miracle. In `Manaqibe -Sultani’ it is documented that the Chenub river flooded and its waters reached an old mud fort where a few old graves were situated. One very pious Sayed from a neighboring village saw in a vision Hazrat Sultan Bahu (RA) indicating to him the location of his grave, which was being threatened by the flood. He asked the Sayed to remove his body and take for burial to a safer place.
Sayed Sahib together with a few friends did as instructed but was disappointed not to find the body in its grave. The following evening he was again instructed to bring along a casket and leave it overnight at the graveside and to return the next day when he would find the casket heavy with the body inside. The following day, with the help of his friends Sayed Sahib loaded the casket onto a camel and proceeded towards a graveyard (known as Hazrat
Peer Abdur Rehan Qureishi’s graveyard), when on the way they came across an enclosure, which was famous for its macabre and uncanny surroundings.
This surrounding was screened and preserved with a fencelike structure so that no man or animal could venture therein. On reaching the place the she camel sat down, despite being goaded to move on. Witnessing the camel’s strange behaviour, they deduced that Allah must have reserved this sanctuary as the resting place for Hazrat Sultan Bahu (RA). Spontaneously, the camel rose and entered the enclosure and sat on a neat clean clearing. Taking this as divine approval, they buried the casket. From this chosen site started a spring of blessings and instructions, which turned into an ocean of benefit and guidance as time passed on. Later his great Persian and Punjabi works in prose and poetry, which lay hidden in the guise of anonymity became available. Scholars and seekers after truth travelled far and wide to acquire the invaluable treasures of Hazrat Sultan Bahu’s(RA) writings. These were copied, distributed and studied. As the saint himself says that when he did not find any true seeker to impart his spiritual wealth and blessings, he decided to transform this esoteric wealth into writing and thus made it available for generations to come. For 150 years, the tomb of the great saint illuminated the hearts and minds of the people. The river Chenab once again raised its waters, coming dangerously close to the shrine. This time it was Hazrat Sultan Noor Ahmed (RA) who was instructed to once again shift the tomb to where it stands today.
Hazrat Sultan Bahu(RA) did not acquire the worldly sciences. Due to immense spiritual attractions and ecstasy it became difficult to attain to formal education. Yet his own person was luminous with Divine Light. In one of his writings the saint refers to this when he says that: ` I did not have time to spare for formal education but spiritual experiences, divine favour and guidance and esoteric conquests has enabled me to acquire such vast knowledge that it would require many files of paper to record.
Spiritual realities has so enlightened my inward that both the esoteric and exoteric sciences have been revealed to me….neither did I have the time to perform daily litanies (wird) because since the beginning I have been immersed in the ocean of Unity (Tauheed) ‘. He was a strict upholder of the Shari’a and did not in his entire life forego even one Mustahab.
GEOGRAPHICAL MAP OF THE PRESENT TOMB
The present Darbar is situated in such a demographic location that it is surrounded and encompassed by a well populated area all round. two miles from here is a village called `Gharmaharaj’. To the south is `Ahmedpur’. To the east is the river Chenub. Crossing the river is the town of Shorkhote and two and a half miles further west is the main road to Multan.
The Mausoleum contains the grave of the saint and his children. A beautiful mosque stands on the right hand side of the Mausoleum. The area in front of the mosque is very wide and spacious, large enough to hold hundreds of worshippers. In the same open area towards the east and opposite the mosque and the shrine is a very large ablution block. The inside of the mosque is covered by beautiful marble enhancing the interior of the mosque considerably.
An open section stands between the tomb and the mosque. This space is usually used by the pilgrims for the recitation of the Quran-the recitation of which carries on till late at night. There are two entrances to the Mausoleum of the Saint. The main entrance is from the east and the other from the west. Entering from the eastern side, on the right hand side is the tomb of Hazrat Sultan Noor Ahmed (RA) and on entering from the west, also near the door on the left hand side is the tomb of Hazrat Sheikh Ameer Sultan. Hazrat Sultan Bahu’s (RA) tomb stands in the centre of the Mausoleum, covered on top by a beautiful covering and surrounded on all sides by a beautiful woodwork giving it an appearance of a fencelike-design. Altogether fifteen tombs make up the number of graves in the Mausoleum.
Once in the Mausoleum one is greeted by pilgrims from all walks of life, poor and rich, busy in the remembrance of Allah and the recitation of the Quran. Outwardly the mausoleum and the mosque is covered by beautiful decorated tiles. The inner boundary of the complex is surrounded on all four sides by `hujras’ or small rooms (for the use of dervishes and other visitors). Close by to the mosque, on the northern side is the shrine of Hazrat Nur-ul-Hassen. In some of the small rooms and also outside the perimeters of the boundary walls of this complex are found the graves of some of the Saints khalifas.
There is a large `langark hana’ or public kitchen for the poor, which serves the daily needs of the pilgrims. During the Urs celebration, which takes place on the first ten days of Muharram, the public-kitchen serves thousands of people. The natural surroundings outside the boundary walls of the complex is decorated by loosely scattered trees and sandy patches of roadwork, which is sometimes covered by thinly, veiled grass.
This land area is so vast that during the Urs celebration of the saint over two million people gather here. Those who visit every year and others who frequent the shrine often have built for themselves their own little units or small rooms. After the open tract of land surrounding the complex is a large dam protected by an embankment. Towards the east of the dam is the area called Atthara Hazarie from where passes the road to Ahmedpur.
SPIRITUAL POWER OF THE TOMB
In Islam wilayat, the condition of a wali, refers uniquely to the gnostic station of a person. The station of a wali is the station of knowledge of the Real by direct seeing. Thus in the Spiritual Kingdom of Allah, Hazrat Sultan Bahu (RA) holds a very high position of his own. He is referred to as `king of the gnostics’ an appropriate title, as he himself says, that for a true Faqir life and death is the same.
It is a well known fact that in the temporal world, an officer loses his powers after retirement or on death but not so for the saints of Allah. In the spiritual world the powers of the saint’s of Allah remain as good as they were in their lifetime, nay, their powers even increase as they are no longer constricted and obstructed by their physical bodies. Their spiritual powers comes into play immediately after death.Just as they illumined the hearts and the minds of the people during their lifetime, so too, after their demise from this world, they illumine the seekers after truth. One should not be surprised by such occurrences.

S. Abdul Qadir Gillani - Tariqa Qadiria

The Creator of this universe, Almighty ALLAH Subhanahu-wataala, HE is only One, Unique and Great. All the creations that exists, for example human beings, plants, birds, animals, the sun , the stars , the oceans and the moon, are signs of Almighty ALLAHs subhanahu-wataala existence, power, strength, knowledge, and other attributes which can only be complete and comprehensive when referred to Almighty ALLAH subhanahu-wataala.

Almighty ALLAH Subhanahu-wataala, the most Exalted, created man for a noble purpose: to worship HIM Subhanahu-wataala and lead a virtuous life based on HIS teachings and guidance.
How would man know his role and the purpose of his existence unless he received clear and practical instructions of what Almighty ALLAH Subhanahu-wataala wants him to do? Almighty ALLAH Subhanahu-wataala, has completed and perfected the guidance of the rest of mankind by placing the mission of the propagation of religion upon the shoulders of HIS Holy Prophets which were thousands in number. Almighty ALLAH Subhanahu-wataala had chosen from every nation a Prophet or more to convey HIS Subhanahu-wataala Message to the people.

Last of the Holy Prophets of Almighty ALLAH Subhanahu-wataala, the final Prophet, is Hazrat Syedina Muhammad Rasulullah Salala-hu Alaihe wasallam , the spiritual and temporal head of Muslims and the entire universe.

The Prophet hood of Hazrat Syedina Muhammad Rasulullah Sallala hu Alaihe wasallam is the fundamental point of our faith, The Holy Faith that believes in the oneness of Almighty ALLAH Subhanahu-wataala , the Holy Book which is the Quran ul Kareem, the day of Qiyamah which is the Day of Judgment, the Holy Prophets Salala-hu Alaihe wasallam and the Holy Books from, before, the Holy Angels Alaihe Wassalam and the subsidiary incumbents of Islam.

The Holy Prophet Hazrat Syedina Muhammad Rasulullah Salala-hu Alaihe wasallam lived a simple and straight forward life. He Salala-hu Alaihe wasallam, demonstrated and completed the laws of moral, ethical, legal, and social conduct and all other matters of significance for the humanity at large.

In the Light of Quran & Hadith

"As for whoever exceeded the limits and preferred the life of this world, surely his abode will be the Fire; and as for whoever feared to stand before his Lord and restrained the desires of his self, surely his abode will be the Garden." (79:39-40)
Hazrat Yousef Siddiq Narrates;
“The Lord of all Heaven declares, When Allah Almighty bless humankind with His bestow ness psyche, He unveils the sins of His worshiper”
Also in the other versus, Allah the Creator Says to Prophet David PBUH:
“O David deem your psyche as your utmost enemy, because Allah’s divinity dwell in doom ship of your psyche”
The Nafs is by far the most important element in the cosmology of existence. It contains within it the worlds of the heart, the intellect, the drives and the witness. Allah Says:
"And there are signs within your souls" (Qur’an 21:51).
At the other versus about the psyche:
“We created man and we know what (evil) his mind and lower self suggest to him. And I am closer to him than his jugular vein’ (Qur’an 50:16).
Prophet Mohammad Peace be Upon Him (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) States:
“The person who identifies one’s own psyche, he shall over come the sins which process towards Allah. Those who known with mortality he discover the existence. Also this been state as, one who discover his lord with sovereignty."
Another Hadith States:
“When Allah intend guidance to His worshippers, so one sinner’s sins been high lightened.”
From all these Qur’anic versus and Hadiths any person completely cannot signify his psyche unless his spiritual head or leader empower with the depth ness of psyche. Hazrat Juanid Bagdadi narrates:
“Psyche manipulate your negotiations and the best way to over come is to govern your own psyche.”

Psyche

The veracity of Essence is hidden. Nafs (or Nufûs) lexically means soul, the psyche, the ego, self, life, person, heart or mind. This can be known only by Aulia Allah (Saint). Meaning of Nafs: It has two meanings. First, it means the powers of anger and sexual appetite in a human being... and this is the definition mostly found among the people of Tassawuf [Sufis], who take "Nafs" as the comprehensive word for all the evil attributes of a person. The second meaning of Nafs is the soul, the human being in reality, his self and his person. However, it is described differently according to its different states. If it assumes calmness under command and has removed from itself the disturbance caused by the onslaught of passion, It is the core of experiential possibilities, but within it is the far greater reality of the ruh.

Instruction for Bayat

Instruction for Bayat

Before stepping, one truth seeker must ensure these qualities in Oath taker. These are:
The mentor should be on the right path and should be Sunni. Otherwise one may put his conviction in to jeopardy.
One should be capable of consultation with literature in order to justify pros and cons.
The divine leader should replicate all the Sunnah of Prophet Mohammad (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) and the character should not be dreadful character person.
The next of kin or the family tree for Bayat should ascend Prophet Mohammad SAW; otherwise the graciousness would not be showered.

Originality of Bayat

Originality of Bayat

The purity of Bayat defines, as “By taking oath on the hand of Allah’s designated authority, that l shall be faithful to Allah.” Since the wisdom of oath taking has been the pioneer step by Khulfa e Rashideen (4 Caliphs of Islam), but that were for govern and as well for purification.
Allah SWT States in Hoy Quran,
“ON THE DAY OF JUDGEMENT, YOU SHALL BE CALLED BY YOUR DIVINE PREACHER”
For those who do not obtain Bayat, he falls under the supervision of devil.

Why Bayat?

Why Bayat?

The need of Bayat narrated in Holy Quran as ;
"O People in faith, search for affinity, and fight in a direction, which prosper you".
The Bayat does not mean, to perform good deeds, but the real bayat can occur, once you have an enlightened spiritual leader. It is every Muslims duty to obtain piousness, but it only can empower your psyche, once you self-denial your inner self. It is like a student cannot obtain knowledge with out a mentor; similarly a devotee cannot seek divine knowledge, or purify inner self with out the merciful glance of a spiritual leader.
Hazrat Gous Azam Sheikh Abdul Qadir Gillani r.a stated in His book GAHINA ALTALEEBEN,
“A person cannot obtain divine knowledge, with out the guidance of the inclusive spiritual guider. Also in further level, a knowledge seeker or a Talib (Spiritual student) should not scattered himself from his inclusive spiritual leader until he receive complete divine knowledge. This quotes the concept, that a true believer cannot obtain certain levels of wisdom or spiritual knowledge, unless he/she bless by the Spiritual leader. By the sayings of Aulia Allah, a human can only obtain refinement and intuited divine knowledge, only by the blessing (Nuzur e Kurum) of Aulia Allah. With out the companionship with Aulia Allah, a human cannot access to Allah or to HIS immaculate creation. It is not only the Quran and Sunnah to teach the right path, but we can empower our selves by devoting our every action by the willingness and acceptance of Aulia Allah. The concept also states, to receive complete edification.
There is no other, then mentor who can correct our spirits. For a complete and true guidance, we must follow our August Hazrat Baba Tajuddin Aulia.
For the physical decontamination is the Waddu, whereas for the spiritual purification is the bless sight of your Murshid. When the moment of death arrives, the devil force to engross you from the guidance, because once Allah’s believer distract from the right track, no other alternate can make him correct. To protect oneself, one should do the Bayat, or the guiding hand of your Murshid to protect you from devil and his apostles. The importance escalates to safe guard you at the time of discretion.

The Mode of Bayat

The Mode of Bayat

Bayat is a mutual pledge relating to the striving, arranging and executing. In 6th Hijiri, Prophet Mohammad (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) decided to perform Umrah with 1400 companions went to Makkah Al Mukarrama. The disbelievers (Kaafireen of Makkah) detoured the way for Prophet Mohammad SAW and his Companions. The Holy Prophet SAW stayed at the point of Hudabiya. The Holy Prophet (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) commanded Hazrat Othman (a.s.) to proceed for negotiations. Prophet Mohammad SAW sat under an oak tree and invited for bayat to fight till the last drop. All the companions of Allah's Apostle SAW gathered around Him and they all took Bayat by Lords of kings, Prophet Mohammad SAW hands.
According to Shah Wali Ullah Dehlvi's book, those deed or action takes places in the Sunnah of Prophet Mohammad SAW life, Bayat is one major component of Islam and those who dishonors it, they dishonors the Quran and Sunnah.

Bayat

Authenticity of Bayat

In the Holy Quran Allah Says;
“Indeed Allah delighted from the believers when were implicated in Bayat beneath the tree – 26 Fatah 18
In other versus of Holy Quran, it states;
“Those who execute Bayat on your hand, execute the bayat on the hands of Allah”.
By the sayings of Hazrat Abdah bin Saaát Ansari Razi Allah narrates;
“The Bayat on the hands of Prophet Syedina Hazrat Mohammad (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) highlights, during all the hardship and temptation moments, we shall obey the command of Holy Prophet Peace be upon Him. We shall not hurdle or ambiguity in the decision of our leader.”
Therefore it has been proven that, to obtain Bayat is the Sunnah of Holy Prophet Hazrat Mohammad (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam).
The companions of Prophet Mohammad (Peace be upon Him) also have done the bayat, sometime on Jihad, or sometime on shift from one place to another in the line of faith, some time to battle with Kufars (disbelievers) some time to protected by the Shrik or sometime by the welfare of Muslims,
Therefore, to do Bayat is Sunnah of Allah last Apostle Hazrat Mohammad Peace be upon Him, and those misbelievers says as Shirk or Biedut, they deny the genuineness of Holy Quran and Sunnah of Holy Prophet Peace be Upon Him.

Sufism

Moses & Khizr

"Verily we have cast veils over their hearts, lest they should understand the Quran, and into their ears caused thickness of hearing." Moses asked God weather there was any one man more knowing than himself; and he was directed to go to Khizr. Khizr is supposed to be one Balaya ibn Malacan, who having drunk of the water if life had become immortal. Moses with his servant, Joshua, proceeded to the place where the two seas met. When they arrived at the meeting of the two seas, they forgot the fish (the roasted one) which they had brought for their dinner; and the fish took its way freely to the sea, when Moses called for dinner, Joshua told him what had actually happened. They then returned to the place from which the fish had jumped into the sea. Here Moses met Khizr and requested him to be allowed to follow him " that thou mayest teach me part of that which thou hast been taught". Khizr answered," Verily though couldst not bear with me: for couldst thou patiently suffer thoes things, the knowledge whereof thou dost not comprehend". Moses replied," thou shalt find me patient if God please". (The Quran continues)
"So they both went on by the seashore, until they got abroad a ship; and Khirz made a hole there-in. And Moses said unto him: " Hast made a hole therein, so that thou mayst drown those who are abroad? thou hast done a strange thing". He answered,: Did I not tell thee that thou couldst not bear with me?" Moses said," Rebuke me not because I did forget, and impose not on me a difficulty which I had not anticipated". Wherefore they left the ship and proceeded until they met with a youth; and Khizr slew him. Moses said," Hast thou slain and innocent person, without his having killed another? Now hast thou committed an unjust action". He answered," Did I not tell thee that thou couldst not bear with me". Moses said," If I ask thee concerning anything hereafter, suffer me not to accompany thee; now hast thou received and excuse from me". They went forward, therefore, until they came to the inhabitance of a certain city ; and they asked food of the inhabitance thereof ; but they refused to receive them. And they found therein a wall, which was ready to fall down, and Khizr set himself to put it upright. Whereupon Moses said unto him, "If thou wouldst, thou highest doubtless have received a reward for it." He answered, this shall be a separation between significance of that which thou couldst not bear with patience. The vessel belonged to certain poor men, who did there business in the sea: and I was minded to render it unserviceable, because there was a king behind them, who took away every sound ship by force. As to the youth, his parents were true believers and we feared to suffer his being an unbeliever should oblige them to suffer his perverseness and ingratitude; wherefore we desired that their Lord might given them a more righteous child in exchange, and one more affectionate towards them. And the wall belonged to two orphan youths in the city; and under it was a treasure hidden, which belonged to them, and their father was a righteous man; and thy Lord was pleased that they should attain their full age and take forth their treasure, through the mercy of thy Lord; and I did not what thou hast seen, of mine own will but by God's direction. This is the interpretation of that which thou couldst not bear with patience."
Khizr met Moses at the junction of the rivers; Love and Humanity the unmanifest and manifest of Nigruna and Sarguna or exotericism and esotericism. The Quran says: "We have issued two seas that never mingle with one another; there is a partition between them that is irremovable."
Marajal -bahrayni yalaqiyan bayna-huma barza khun to yabghiyan.
David too refers to this partitions :"Deep calleth unto deep at the noise of the of thy water spouts; all thy waves and billows are gone over me."
When one on this cataract, one requires a boat and a boatman to tide over it. Moses met the boatman in the person of Khizr and the boat was the boat of spiritual training. When he boat reaches the other side of the river, there lives a King who confiscates all sound boats. To save his ship, Khizr, the spiritual guider springs a leak in it. This is hole of love in the bottom of humanity .Satan is unable to confiscate it, a leaky boat is of no good to him In such a boat humanity passes over to spirituality.
Love in the bottom of Humanity. Satan is unable to confiscate it; a leaky boat is of no good to him. In such a boat Humanity passes over to Spirituality.
Khizr and Moses, the guru and disciple, it may be, landed on the other side of river, in the country over which the tyrant ruled. Khizr took hold of a youth, i.e., desire and slew him outright. This youth was Nafs (desire-body); unless desires are killed, there can be no progress; this demon in the shape of a youth will be shadowing our steps. The two men leave this country and enter another country—a country inhabited by plunderers no doubt—and in a state of ruin. Here Khizr and Moses have to satisfy their creature comforts, but no body would give them a crumb of bread. Khizr, however, sets about repairing a wall in imminent danger of falling. Under the shadow of this wall, two precious treasures lie buried—Treasure of Prophetship and Saintship, the two orphans referred to. In this country of plunderers, the wall of shari'at is protecting these two treasures. Under the protection of ceremonial institution, the peace of the country was maintained. If the wall of shari'at had collapsed, the two treasures would have fallen into unworthy hands. Hence shari'at (ceremonial institution) protects spiritual treasure.

Divine Immanence

Here is another story from Shaykh Sa'di's 'Gulistan' (Chap. I). A King was traveling in a boat with his 'Ajami salve'; the salve who had not seen the troubles of the sea, began to tremble and wail and gnash his teeth. A physician was sitting in the same boat. He said, "If your Majesty orders me, I shall make him quiet by a device". The King agreed. The physician ordered that the slave should be thrown into the sea, and after he had two or three dipping to be pulled up by the hair of his head. The slave was accordingly pulled up after this trial. He then went and sat quiet in a corner. The King asked the physician what was the wisdom of this experiment. He replied that the slave had not realized the danger of drowning, and was excited. When he actually went through the danger, he realized the safety of being on board a ship. Similarly a man does not understand and realize the doctrine of Hama ust or Divine Immanence, until he is involved in a variety of dangers and comes out safe. The 'Ajami slave (other than Arabs are 'Ajamis) is a term for an uninitiated man; such a man is subject to "Affection of the heart," Khatarat); and he gets confused and his mental balance is upset. Even when he is told that all saints had realized this doctrine, he does not resume a mental equilibrium. The Perfect Pir throws him overbroad into the sea of doubts and infidelity, and then pulls him up towards the shore of safety and a correct appreciation of the underlying reality. It may be objected to, that this story has no perceptible application to the doctrine of Hama ust. The intention of Shaykh Sa'di in plain from his concluding verse: "There is difference between a man whose beloved is in his bosom and one whose eyes are expectant at the door." The believer in Hama ust has observed the Truth with the eyes of certainty and the non-believer is looking forward to the prospect of a beatific vision in a future life.

Glimpse of Tassawuf Sufism

Exposure

Direct Exposition of a spiritual theme is avoided in the holy scriptures of most religious. The glare of the sun is too strong and blinding to the watery eye. If one wishes to have a view even of its penumbra, one must colored glasses. Direct facts are misleading and confusing to the ordinary man ; esoteric writers and speaker have all along clothed realities in many-hued garbs, so that those who have eyes to see may see. Sri Krishna has not laid his truths in their sample nakedness. Jesus Christ has spoken in parables; he, even said that pearls should not be thrown before swines. Common people not realizing the drift of argument, go astray; it requires a certain amount of leaving in one's temperament to grasp facts; culture is not a correct word here to use, as that implies only intellectual ploughing and swing; leavening implies fermentation of feeling to the proper degree, in addition to training of the intellect. Not possessing this leavening, they either go astray or are led to make the confusion of the world worse confounded. Great teachers have therefore hit upon ceremonials as the basis on which training is fixed. These ceremonials are their shari'at or exoteric laws. Shari'at is from shar, the beaten-out path in the desert, which leads to a watering ghat. If you take this way, it leads you straight to the ghat, where the water of life is found- the haqiqat (truth) lies enveloped in this shari'at. To cut through the shell to get at the kernel of the truth is a laborious task. In the Quran itself, the verses are of two kinds- Ayat-i-bayyinat, plain verses; they are writ large, so that one that runs read, e.g the stories of the former prophets, laws about the division of property (ilm-i-farayid) commandments-positive and negative etc. Then there are Ayat-i-Mustashabihat ( verses involving doubt) : which can be interpreted in as many seven different ways.
These latter kind of verses have given rise to as many as 72 sects. They relate to essence and attributes of God, the mysteries of prophet ship- in fact to the Greater Mysteries of Islam ( Ilm-i- Darayaq).
Not only in the Quran are there such narratives, but Sufi writers have exposed their facts in the form of stories.
The Mathnawi of Jalaluddin Rumi is full of stories; and moral is drawn only for those who have eyes to see; the lesser writers of mysteries- Shayakh Saadi, For example, also sometimes draw out their truths in the form of stories. While this form of exposition obscures the mental horizon of those who have no taste for the deeper truths of life, It becomes most palatable to those who are in for it.
"The Intoxication of this wine you do not relish, until you have tasted of it."

Divine Philosophy Behind Sending Prophets and Saints

When Allah Almighty (God) created the world, He send the messengers and saints from time to time reform the humanity so as to keep it from evil practices and make it adopt the path of righteousness. These messengers (Prophets) sent by the Allah (God), as the legend goes, number 1,24,000. The four revealed books namely Holy Zaboor, Holy Torah, Holy Bible and Holy Quran speak on the subject with vivid clarity. Of this large number of Prophets, the above-mentioned four books were revealed on the four noted Prophets namely; Holy David, Moses, Jesus Christ and Hazrat Mohammed (s.a.w.s.), respectively. Since according to the precepts of the Holy Prophet Mohammed Mustafa (s.a.w.s.) He is the final prophet, the chapter of prophethood stood closed some 1400 years ago following His birth and shall remain closed till the Doom's Day. According to a true Muslim's belief, acceptance by heart of the three prophets of Allah (God) namely; Holy Holy David, Moses and Jesus Christ from part his religious belief, among others, and his faith is never complete, if he does not sincerely believe in them and in the revealed holy books such a person cannot as such be treated and recognized as a true Muslim.
Next come the Mystics and Saints, a reference to whom is also made in the Holy Quran. The spiritual status of these saints, undoubtedly is below the prophets, yet they are recognized as true successors to them. The spiritual heights and mystical achievements of these saints are great, glittering and many, and they have attracted the suffering masses to their fold through their supernatural acts (miracles) Sufi (mystic) deeds. What is Shariat?

What is Shariat?

The whole combination of the teaching imposed by Islam regarding Quran & Sunnah is known as "SHARIAT". Extra terrestrial
In Shariat there are two sets of acts included which are: "A maal-e-Zaahiri" and “A maal-e-Baatini".

Urs عُرس

Urs عُرس

The day of Wisaal celebrated each year. It is noted that Urs means 'Bride'. The Wisaal is the moment of happiness for the Wali Allah, thus Urs is a Celebration. It is opposite to 'Death Anniversary' which belongs to general people and it is the moment of sadness.

Wali ولی

Wali ولی

The Saint. The Friend of God. With the Prophet, Peace Be Upon Him, the Nabuwat (Prophecy) was finsihed but God chooses some people out of Prophet's nation who spread the message of Islam. They are always present in every age. There are many pre-Islamic Wali Allahs as well who are also mentioned in Koran i.e., The People of the Cave; Al Khidhr; Luqman. Some of them are Mystics and Sufis, and some are Teachers of profound abilities of delevering Hadiths, Koran, and Fiq (Islamic Law). Normally this Sainthood or Willayat is transfered from heart-to-heart i.e., Teacher-pupil relationship. It cannot be learnt by reading Books and listening the Speeches. But, it does sometimes transfer in the presence of another Wali Allah, whose intension is enough to transfer the ocean of Waillayt into the heart. They are not just a normal human beings, but are of mystical potence. Some of them get the instructions directly from the Holy Soul of Prophet, Peace be upon Him. They are active even after their deaths

The word 'Aulia' singular 'wali' comes from the root word of wilaya. Wilaya is the opposite of enmity (adawaa). The Wali is therefore the one who is close.
Allah has explained in His Book, and in the Sunnah of His Messenger (sallalahu alaihe wa-sallam) that He has aulia among the people and that shaitaan also has his aulia. The Qur'aan mentions the allies of Allah.
"Indeed there is no fear upon the aulia of Allah, nor shall they grieve; those who believe and used to fear Allah much. For them are glad tidings in this life and the Hereafter..." [Soorah Yunus (10): 62]
"Allah is the protector (ally) of those who believe, He takes them out of darkness into light." [Soorah Baqarah (2): 257]
The allies of devil have also been mentioned in the Qur'aan: "..As for those who disbelieve, their allies are the taaghoot who take them out of the light and into the darkness. Those are the people of fire, and they will be in it forever." [Soorah Baqarah (2): 257]
"We have made the devils allies of those who do not believe; those who commit outrages and then say: "We found our predecessors on this (tradition)" Surely they have taken the devils as allies instead of Allah, and they think that they are on guidance" [Soorah Al-A'raf (7): 27-28]
After knowing that there are among people allies of the Merciful and the allies of the devil, it becomes very important to differentiate between these groups by means of the criterion, as described by Allah and His Prophet (sallalahu alaihe wa-sallam) as follows:
The First and Foremost Condition of an Ally of Allah - Taqwa and Belief in Allah
No slave can be an ally of Allah, unless he has the characteristics of faith and pious practices, since Allah has made faith and piety a pre-condition for His Wilaya. He said: "Indeed there is no fear upon the aulia of Allah, nor shall they grieve, those who believe and used to fear Allah much (i.e. have Taqwa - piety). For them are glad tidings in this life and the Hereafter..." [Yunus (10): 62]
Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (sallalahu alaihe wa-sallam) said: "Allah, the Exalted said: "Whoever takes a Wali (loyal slave) of Mine as an enemy, I will wage war on him; and My slave will not perform any act with which he draws closer to Me, more beloved to Me then when he fulfills what I have ordained on him; and My salve will keep drawing closer to Me by performing the Nawafil (voluntary acts of worship) until I love him, and when I love him, I will be his hearing with which he hears, his sight with which he sees, his hands with which he strikes, and his legs with which he walks; and if he asks Me, I will give him; and if he seeks refuge with Me, I will grant him refuge." [Saheeh Bukhari]
From this narration and the above-mentioned Qur'aanic verse, we know that the aulia of Allah are those who believe in Allah and give Him their full loyalty Thus, they love all that Allah loves, hate what Allah hates, are pleased with what Allah is pleased with, despise what Allah despises, they enjoin what Allah enjoins, forbid that what He forbids, give to those whom Allah loves for them to be given, and withhold from those whom Allah loves not to receive, since Prophet (sallalahu alaihe wa-sallam) explained the best handhold of faith to be love and hate for the sake of Allah: "The most dependable handhold on faith is: love for the sake of Allah and hatred for the sake of Allah." [At-Tirmidhee]
"Whoever loves for Allah, hates for Allah, gives for Allah, and withholds for Allah, has sought the completion of his faith." [Abu Dawood]
Belief (imaan) of necessity entails belief in Allah, His angels, His books, His Prophets, and the Last Day: "Say: We believe in Allah and in that which has been sent to us and in that which was sent to Ibrahim, and Ismail and Ishaq and Ya'qub, and the tribes and that which was given to Moosa and Isa and that which was given to the Prophets form their Lord. We do not differentiate between any of them, and we submit to Allah. And so, if they believe in that which you believe, they have achieved guidance, but if they turn away, they are surely in rebellion. Allah will suffice you against them and He is the all-hearing, the all-knowing." [Soorah al-Baqarah (2): 136-137]
"The Prophet has believed in that which is sent to him from his Lord as have the believers. All of them believe in Allah, His angels, His books and His Messengers. We do not differentiate between any of His messengers, and they say: "We hear and we obey. (We seek)Your forgiveness, our Lord to You is the return (of all). Allah does not burden any soul beyond his scope. He gets reward for that (good) which he has earned, and he is punished for that (evil) which he has earned." [Soorah Baqarah (2): 285-6]
"This is a book in which there is no doubt, a guidance for those who are pious. Those who believe in the unseen, establish prayer, and spend out of what We have provided for them. Those who believe in that which was sent down to you and that which was sent down to those before you, and certainly of faith in the existence of the Hereafter. Such are on a true guidance from their Lord, and such are the successful." [Soorah al-Baqarah (2): 1-5]
Thus, a necessary component of faith (eeman) is to believe that Muhammad (sallalahu alaihe wa-sallam) is the seal of the prophets, and there is no prophet after him, and that Allah sent him to all of the two possessors of free will: humans and jinns. From the moment he was made a prophet, Allah made him the criterion between His allies and His enemies, none are the allies of Allah except one who believes in Muhammad (sallalahu alaihe wa-sallam) and in that with which he was sent, and follows it openly and in secret. Whoever claims love of Allah and alliance with Allah but does not follow the Prophet (sallalahu alaihe wa-sallam) is not one of the allies of Allah. He is one of the allies of shaitaan.
Allah said: "Say (O Mohammad) If you truly love Allah, then follow me so that Allah loves you." [Al-Imraan (3): 31]
Allah made it clear in the verse that Allah loves whoever follows the Prophet, and whoever claims the love of Allah, but does not follow the Prophet, is not from the allies of Allah. Al-Hasan al-Basri said about this verse: "A group of people claimed to love Allah, so He sent down this verse as a test for them."
And secondly to believe in all that which he (Prophet) was sent with. Anyone who does not believe in it is not a believer, much less a pious ally of (waly) of Allah. Whoever believes in part of what he brought and rejects part is a kaafir, and not a believer:
"Those who disbelieve in Allah and His Prophets and seek to differentiate between Allah and His prophets, and they say: "We believe in some and we reject some" Such are true disbelievers, and We have prepared for the disbelievers a humiliating punishment. As for those who believe in Allah and His prophets, and sought not to differentiate between any of them. We shall give them their rewards. And Allah is Ever Oft-Forgiving and Most Merciful." [(4): 150-152]
Whatever stage the person reaches in terms of asceticism, devotion, and knowledge, but without belief in the entire message brought by Muhammad (sallallahu alaihe wa-sallam), it can never make him a believer, nor an ally of Allah. Allah said: "Whoever turns away from the reminder of the Merciful, we will assign to him a devil, who will be a partner to him." [(43): 36]
The reminder is the reminder with which He sent His Messenger such as the Qur'aan. So, whoever does not believe in the Qur'aan, and all the information contained therein, has turned away from it, and so is assigned a shaitaan. He turns himself as blind from the Book of Allah and Allah will turn him blind on the Day of Judgment:
"And whoever turns away form my reminder will have an oppressive, restricted life, and We will resurrect him on the Day of Qiyamah: blind. He will say: "Oh my Lord! Why have you resurrected my blind, while I used to see?" (Allah) will say: "Just as My verses came to you and you forgot them, today you are forgotten." [Soorah Ta-Ha (20): 124-126]
This verse clearly shows that 'my reminder' here is the same thing as 'my verses' which Allah sent down. Thus, even if someone mentions Allah (which is known as 'dhikr' in Arabic) constantly, day and night, with devotion, but at the same time is not a follower of Allah's dhikr (Qur'aan) which He sent down to His prophet, he would be one of the allies of shaitaan, even if he were to fly through the air, or walk on water.
Faith also includes - belief that Prophet is the intermediary between Allah and His creation for the purpose of delivering His orders and forbiddance, His promises and threats, and the definition of Halaal and the Haraam. The Halaal is that which Allah and His Messenger have declared Halaal, and the Haraam is what Allah and His Messenger have ordained, because Allah commands the believers to obey him:
"O you who believe! Obey Allah and Obey the Messenger and make not vain your deeds." [Soorah Muhammad (47): 33]
"He who obeys the Messenger had obeyed Allah" [Soorah An-Nisa (4): 80]
He also says: "Whatsoever the Messenger gives you take it and whatsoever he forbids you refrain from it."
Thus, whoever believes that any waly has a way to Allah without following the Prophet (sallalahu alaihe wa-sallam) is a kaafir, and is an ally of the devil.
Actions of the Allies of Allah
The allies of Allah are of two levels: forerunners those who brought near - and those of the right hand who act in moderation. Allah, the Exalted says reminding the Day of Judgement: "And you (all) will be in three kinds (i.e separate groups). So those on the Right Hand and Who will be those of the Right Hand? And those on the Left Hand and who will be those on the Left Hand? And those foremost will be foremost in Paradise. They will be those nearest to Allah." [Soorah al-Waqiyah (56): 8-12]
And again Allah says in the end of the same Soorah: "Then, if the dying person be of the Muqarraboon (those brought near to Allah.) (There is for him) rest and provision, and a Garden of delights (Paradise). And if he be of those on the Right Hand. Then there is safety and peace for those on the Right Hand. But if he be of the denying then for him is entertainment with boiling water. And burning in Hell-Fire." [(56): 88-94]
And the actions of these two groups are mentioned in the Hadeeth of Prophet Muhammad (sallallahu alaihe wa-sallam): "Allah says: "Whoever takes a Wali (loyal slave) of Mine an enemy, I will wage war on him; and My slave will not perform any act with which he draws closer to Me, more beloved to Me then when he fulfills what I have ordained on him; and My salve will keep drawing closer to Me by performing the Nawafil (voluntary acts of worship) until I love him, and when I love him, I will be his hearing with which he hears, his sight with which he sees, his hands with which he strikes, and his legs with which he walks; and if he asks Me, I will give him; and if he seeks refuge with Me, I will grant him refuge." [Saheeh Bukharee]
Consequently, the righteous - those of the Right Hand are those who seek to come close to Allah with obligatory actions: they do that which Allah has ordered them to do, and avoid that which Allah has forbidden them, and do not demand of themselves the doing of the commendable but less than obligatory (i.e. mandoob), or the avoiding of some of the disrecommendable of the allowed (i.e. makrooh)
As for the forerunners those brought near, they sought to come close to Allah with extra efforts after the obligatory. They did the obligatory and the commendable, and avoided the forbidden and the non-recommended. When they sought to come close to Him with everything within their ability of that which they love, Allah's love for them became complete, as Allah says: "...My salve will keep drawing closer to Me by performing the Nawafil (voluntary acts of worship) until I love him..." [Saheeh Bukharee]
The Allies of Allah have no Special Appearance
The allies of Allah have no special appearance with which they differ form other people. They have no special dress from other than just being permissible. Rather, they are to be found in all categories of the nation of Muhammad (sallallahu alaihe wa-sallam). However, the Qur'aan and the Sunnah show clearly that the best people in the sight of Allah is the one with the most of Taqwa (pious practice):
"O people, we have created you from a male and a female and made you in peoples and tribes that you may know each other. Verily, the noblest of you in the sight of Allah is the greatest in righteous practice." [Soorah al-Hujarat (49): 13]
Abu Hurairah narrates in a Saheeh Hadeeth: "The Prophet of Allah (sallalahu alaihe wa-sallam) was asked: "Which people are the best? He said: "Those greatest in taqwa (righteous practice)" [Bukhareee and Muslim]
Allies of Allah are not ma'soom (protected) from mistakes
It is not a condition for an ally of Allah that he be free of (protected from) mistakes and errors. It is quite possible that some knowledge of the shari'ah may be hidden from him, just as it is possible for him to be confused about some issues in Islam But, he may not necessarily because of this, leave the ranks of allies of Allah, since Allah has overlooked and forgiven for this Ummah error, acts of forgetting, and things done under compulsion:
"There is no burden upon you for that in which you were mistaken, rather that which you have done with the full determination of the heart." [Soorah Ahzab (33): 5]
Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "Prophet (sallalahu alaihe wa-sallam) said: "When a ruler exerts himself to arrive at the correct ruling, and is correct, he gets two rewards and when he exerts himself but is mistaken, he gets one reward." [Bukharee and Muslim]
Since, it is possible for any ally of Allah to make a mistake. It can never be obligatory upon the people to believe in everything any one of them says, except that in the case that one of them is a prophet. Rather, it is obligatory for him to measure all of that up to the criterion of that which the Prophet (sallalahu alaihe wa-sallam) brought. If it is in agreement therewith then he can accept it, but if it is in disagreement then he must reject it, and if he cannot be sure whether it is in accordance with the Prophet's message or at variance with it, he must refrain from believing it or applying it.
The second Caliph Umar (may Allah be pleased with him), regarding whom Prophet of Allah (sallalahu alaihe wa-sallam) said: "In previous nations there were individuals who were addressed (with the truth). If there are such people in my nation, Umar is the one of them." [Bukharee and Muslim]
"Verily, Allah has put the truth on the tongue of Umar and in his heart." [At- Tirmidhee (hasan)]
But, Umar always did that which was obligatory upon him: i.e. - to measure things that occurred to him against that with which the Prophet (sallalahu alaihe wa-sallam) was sent. He never said: "I am mahaddath, I receive inspiration and visions, and so you should accept that which I say and not oppose me therein."
Heart is an intuitions and not protected from falling into errors, and so one needs always to measure them against that which has been brought by the Prophet (sallalahu alaihe wa-sallam), the protected from falling into error. And the early scholars of Islam have unanimously agreed that the opinions of any man can be accepted and rejected i.e. they are open to questions except for the statements of the Prophet.
The point we are making here is an issue of complete consensus of the allies of Allah:
It is obligatory upon the allies of Allah to hold tight to the criterion; the Qur'aan and the Sunnah, and no one of them is ma'soom; i.e. protected against falling into errors, such that it is permissible to him or to his followers to follow that which comes to his heart without subjecting it to the test of the Qur'aan and the Sunnah. Whoever does not accept this is in no way or shape or form among the allies of Allah, whom Allah has ordered us to emulate. Such a person is either 'kafir' or is engaged in extreme and excessive foolishness and ignorance.

Wazifa وظیفہ

Wazifa وظیفہ

Plural 'Wazaif'. Wazifa is the repetition of words, clauses, and sentences i.e., Names of Allah, Names of Beloved Prophet, Peace be upon Him, or other notions which were performed by Aulia Allah. These wazaif have powerful capability to transform one's self, circumstances, or even chemistry of the things. Every single sound which is uttered from the mouth has shape, form, and magnetic field. The 'Intension of the Mind' is the Powerhouse to drive the magnetic fields (See how Pendulum Downsing works using Intension). In addition to intension the Words of God have their own divine forces (mostly are unknown to mankind). When ordered in specific numbers, these wazaif create specific forms to create fields which are stronger than the object's or persons's own magnetic field, thus, applying required modifications by force. Some wazaifs' fields are so intense that the required goal is achieved almost instantly. Other wazaifs' effects take some time to come into menifestation.
The physical issues as well as spiritual issues all have their places, colors, and frequency in Body's bio-magnetic field or 'Aura' and they all have related magnetic/auric zones (after the death, when the human lives as magnetic field (auric body), these spiritual issues of Aura are still present and disturb even there. Their treatment in this world is necessary.) Read on Aura and Bio-magnetic Field and Aura Imaging - Biofeedback Technologies.
Because the 'Intension' behind these 'spells' is the foundation of this whole phenomenon, it will be judged that 'WHO' is permorming the Wazifa. The performance of the Wali Allah could be a million times more stronger than the one from general public. The more person's intension is pure and stronger, the quicker and with greater force the effect will be achieved. In other words, if one is not Wali Allah, but the circumstances are such that the intension of a person is greater and purest i.e., near death, the force of wazifa will be stronger accordingly.
Some Wazaif are extremely strong and requires you to properly ground the 'current', therefore you must be part of some Silsila (which shall act as a grounding system) and have proper permission to perform these special Wazaif, otherwise the results could be catastrophic. In case one has performed them without permission, should immediately start Darood Shareef and stop all other wazaif. Darood Shareef acts like first aid in grounding the excessive charge created by strong wazaif.
In Japan such experiments are accomplished in labs where some words are spoken on water, and water changes its shape of crystals. These words can be 'blessed-ones' or 'evil-ones'. And keeping in mind that human's 90% body is composed of water. Click Here to Visit Mr. Emoto's Lab and Video: Message From Water.
In Quantum Theory, the Observer effect is a good description how the Wazaif work. The Observer is the entity, when observes, creates the Universe, and then observes it. If there is no Observer, there isn't a thing at all.
